- After completing a job in June of 2002 in Vaco, West Virginia, Fenton's Altair Division received a letter of appreciation from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Project Manager Tommy Wallace and Project Superintendent Bill Blevins were recognized with a letter stating "We appreciate the commitment to excellence and safety that you have shown while in our service". The letter goes on to commend the two of them for the outstanding work performed through out the two-year project. The job was a two-year project which involved the removal of a timber span bridge, placement of new concrete piers and installation on new structural steel spans.
- Construction Manager, Jacobs Engineering, and Owner, Rohm & Haas, had nothing but praise for Ben Hall and his crew as they completed a project that involved everything from concrete work, steel erection and roofing work. Both the Owner and Construction Manager called our home office on a number of occasions to express their satisfaction in the professionalism that the crew brought to the job everyday and what a pleasure it was to work with them. Benny and his crew (Alan Hall, Phil Lillard, Dennis Metzger, Bobby Fleek, Cliff Wagner, Lem Ferguson and Mike Chenault) are just another example of the fine workmanship you can receive from Fenton Rigging.
- Altair Construction, one of two divisions of Fenton Rigging, was featured in the Project Spotlight of a recent publication by the PDCA, Pile Driving Contractors Association.
